EARTHQUAKE AND OTHER NATURAL HAZARDS. SCIENCE FOR A BETTER FUTURE

The Italian National Research Council meets citizens and institutions Friday, March 10, 2017 Foligno, Italy.

Learn about natural hazards and means to address them more effectively live with it rationally. Scientific knowledge should always be the basis of administrative decisions and policies. In the population, they help to generate awareness of the need for adequate prevention, to ensure citizens and territories, however the prospect of a better future, even with unavoidable or unforeseeable risks.

The National Research Council is close with his studies and his researchers to people living in areas at risk, in particular to central Italy people affected by the earthquakes of 2016 and 2017, including the dissemination of scientific knowledge sharing ongoing research. The meeting will be attended by the President and executives of some research institutes of the National Research Council representing the body in the institutions and bodies responsible for emergency management. After the speeches, the President and the Executives of the CNR to answer questions from citizens and representatives of institution.
